Ventec announces that Thailand has been selected as the location for its new state-of-the-art PCB materials manufacturing facility. The facility will be built on 8.4 acres in the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate to the north of Bangkok in the Ayutthaya province, reinforcing Ventec’s commitment to global supply chain resiliency, as well as customer proximity in the developing Southeast Asia PCB manufacturing hub. - Well Tek Electronics, a subsidiary of China-based Welgao Electronics, is the first new PCB investor to open its factory in the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya
The state plan to strengthen printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing in Thailand to serve smart electronics and digital businesses, including electric vehicles and data centres, is gathering momentum, with a Chinese PCB maker starting operations in Ayutthaya, says the Board of Investment (BoI).
